The only one that has it easy when choosing a health benefits plan is a benefits plan consultant. There, I said it.
I’m Keith Barto, Founder & Managing Partner of Aceso Analytics. You see, I have been in the high-tech business most of my life and solving difficult problems with great teams is my passion. Choosing the right health benefits for your personal situation is one of the most daunting and complex problems in the United States today.
Mike Flynn, co-founder of Aceso, has spent 22 years in the health benefits consulting industry and is the friend I would approach with my benefits package every year and ask for help on how to choose the right plan for me and my family. Mike is the architect of health benefits plans for businesses so he understands what the business is trying to accomplish from a employee retention and cost perspective.
We would sit, have a beverage and he would ask me a bunch of questions about Doctor visits, any planned surgeries, regular pharmacy usage, pre-existing conditions – you get the idea. And then he would point at a plan on the page and say pick that one. OK, and off I would go for another year.
Another co-founder & friend, Matt White, joined us to lead software development at Aceso. Matt was VP of Development at my previous successful SaaS company, Immersive Partner Solutions. Matt spends most of his time extracting all the benefits jargon from Mike’s head so the computers can work for you. Matt is one of the most creative and talented technical guys I know so it is amazing that we get to collaborate together again.
Now you may not be as fortunate as I am to have my very own benefits consultant as a best friend and that is why we built Aceso Analytics. So that everyday folks who are not in the health benefits industry can get a better understanding of their plans which will maximize their health benefits while aligning to their financial needs.
We are very excited to have you as an Aceso customer and we look forward to your feedback and the satisfaction of knowing that you made the benefits choice that is best for you.
All the best to you and your family,
Keith
